It is said that,

“All things are possible when you believe”, yet are they really?

Think back to when you were a child. Your parents probably told you that all things were possible; that you could be, do or have anything your heart desired. You could be an actor, professional athlete, doctor, astronaut or perhaps even the President of the United States.

As you headed off to school and entered the “real world”, you may have been told, “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “stop daydreaming” and “just be happy with what you have”, whether you liked it or not.

Years later with a job, marriage, children, and a mortgage, The American Dream may have soon seemed like a nightmare as you found a lot more month left at the end of your paycheck. Perhaps you developed struggles in your health, marriage and family or watched as fear about the future stepped into your thoughts, keeping you awake at night. Little by little, day by day, your dreams began to shrink, fade or even seem to disappear completely.

As a young girl, I remember being told that all things were possible.  It was in our family’s strawberry patch where my father and I would spend time together and where he would impart his words of wisdom.

He would say, “Remember, Patricia, all things are possible. Anything you can conceive and believe, you can achieve”. I found inspiration and hope in my father’s words and began to dream BIG dreams for my future. Several years later my father would pass, and I thought my message of hope had passed too.

Soon after, the results in my life no longer resembled the images that I once dreamed. Following a rocky road as a college drop-out, 60-hour workweeks that barely paid the bills, ill health and even a divorce, I decided enough is enough! I remember thinking, “There just has to be another way!” At that moment I remembered my father’s message, “Remember, Patricia, all things are possible”.

It was then I realized my father planted more than strawberries in that patch. He had planted a seed of hope that began to awaken in me. Once again, I began to dream of a better life, a life I’d LOVE living.

I studied everything I could get my hands on, hired a coach, worked with mentors and got my life back on track toward living my dreams. In the process of overcoming a life threatening disease, finding and marrying the love of my life, achieving terrific success in business, I have discovered a precise formula for success that can actually be applied to any area of life with stellar results. By applying these specific principles, I have lived all things possible and continue to ELEVATE! my results, both personally and professionally.  Now as a professional speaker and performance coach, I am so thrilled to work with others to do the same. The question I get most often is, “Patricia, where do I begin”?  Below you will find 3 steps to get you started.

3 Simple Steps to Elevate Your Success in Business and in Life:

Key #1 – Craft a Clear Vision

Create a picture in your mind, in great detail of what you want most. It is said, “Without vision, the people perish”.  That is absolutely true.  Yet it is the clarity of the vision, where the real power resides. Having a crystal clear vision sharply focused in great detail, actually sets up a magnetic field inside of you. You become more open to and aware of new opportunities that correspond to that specific image held by you. The clarity of your vision acts as a finely calibrated magnet attracting to you that which you have designed in your mind.

Key #2 – Understand your Paradigms and Limitations

Just as a thermostat in your home governs the temperature of your home, you have an internal “thermostat” known as a paradigm that governs the level of success you allow in your life. Have you ever said,“This is going to be THE year!” only to find distractions taking you off track or paralyzing fear preventing you from even beginning?  It is impossible to out-perform your self-image, which actually is your internal governor. With better awareness of your self-imposed limitations, you can shift your internal thermostat and break through any barriers that seem to be in your way.

Key #3 – Create a Support Structure

Have you ever heard that “birds of a feather flock together”? Consider this: your results in every area of life equal the average of those you associate with the most. (Notice, I did not say those whom you like most.) So, who do you surround yourself with most? Are they people who believe that dreams really can come true or are they people who think that the world is coming to an end? Champions in every arena surround themselves with champion-minded people and mentors to guide them along the way. Surround yourself with positive people and those who know the way. In addition, by attending seminars and online classes, you may find the boost you are looking for to set you on track to achieving your goals and dreams.

I used to think all things were possible.  What I believe and now know for sure is that truly, ALL things really are possible! No matter where you find yourself, no matter what circumstances or conditions are in your life at this point, you have the potential to live your dreams.  What I know for sure is that the age old wisdom of If you can dream it, and you believe it, you can achieve it! is absolute truth. The process begins the very moment you decide to live the life you love. Equipped with the necessary tools, it is with certainty that you can achieve the results you desire.

As my father would say, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life”.  Knowing that all things really are possible, the only question from here is, “What would you love to create”?
